Developed through research and engagement with Londoners, London for All reflects our collective understanding of what more we need to do, together, to counteract poverty in London.
The recommendations in London for All include the development of an “implementation body” to coordinate and drive community efforts. Over the months of June – August, City of London staff facilitated conversations with Londoners with lived experience with poverty, service providers, and other interested community members to understand the best approach to implementation.
At this update meeting, we will share the results of the implementation body conversations and the path for moving forward with the implementation body.
Through the conversations, we have heard clearly that London for All can’t be an exercise in talking; it must be about action that makes a real difference in the lives of Londoners. Encouragingly, we have also heard that many organizations and individuals are already taking action, taking on and implementing recommendations to drive community change. We would, therefore, also like to use this meeting to share progress on the recommendations and build momentum for more action.
